I went back through the thread looking for anything (since we're not gaining much traction and deadline is just after the weekend). Shield never responded to this question from Day 2, before focus shifted to Iliad & killboy:

ABout scum leads, I really didn't find any, but rds' roleblocking claim sounds fishy. Granted, he did claim n00b, but what use would blocking a bulletproof be? I'd say rds fakeclaimed and he is either (a) Maple or (b)Link with the sword. I think he's lying about his true identity to hide something. Vote rds explain your logic for trying to roleblock a bulletproof or tell us who you really are.

(a) Maple turned bulletproof Link into a JOAT. As mafia would still think he was bulletproof, town would have a "safe" JOAT. This leads me to believe Maple is Town.
(b) Link with the sword also had a good reason to target Hensow. If Hensow was telling the truth, he lived; if he was lying, he died.

Both accusations you throw at rds still make him town, yet you cast a vote for him anyway. Vote shieldgenerator7; I'd like to hear why you think a townie is fakeclaiming, and why you want to kill him anyway.

I have no idea who would be a good candidate for a lynch today. I do understand the case on killboy, but I feel like even though it is the best case, its not a great case either. In all honesty, he is being active now which is better than a lot of players. If we lynch anyone, I would suggest a random shot an inactive, who are likely to be submarining now.

sorry, I haven't had much time lately to play mafia, so back to an inactive lynch again... Well we know at the very least the mafia is active enough to send in some kills, or at least wizrobe or ganon is, but that doesn't say too much in meta terms, hmmm mr.s did delay the day for an action, must have been important...

Might be worth a shot in the dark, but still let's not forget the mod forces lynches, there hasn't been a count in a while, but at the very least killboy has one vote on him, you got off yesterday, but since there is some lingering suspicion against you perhaps you should claim if you don't want to be deadline killed.

Well activity doesn't seem our biggest problem but more lack of leads, I am still interested in pursuing killboy to be honest, I don't necessary think the defence he has brought up is the strongest one I've heard but at least he is posting now.

i am now back and around, i was away for a while and couldn't get to a computer until a few days ago which i had to catch back up to all games i'm in and anything i had to do on the computer or RL.

anyway killboy has gave a reasonable excuse for his wording and seems fairly likely in my eyes.

Well with rds and VS i don't know how else except for a bus driver incident which seems very plausible if they are both innocent.

So their is no leads as already been mentioned.

Ok, I was just wondering because you were saying that killboy's statements were possible newbie mistakes. I am just wondering what makes you know a rookie mistake when you see one? Perhaps you are just repeating what you think the 'party line' is. I think it is too late in the day to warrant a vote on you, but beware that people do actually read what you write.

The second quote pointed out by drunkmonkey does seem scummy, but could very well be a rookie slip up.
