What causes someone to get kicked like this? I mean, what rules would you have to break in order to be booted from a game? It just happened in a game I am in (not to me, mind you) and I wanted to ask so that I can better understand.

Most likely it was a case of multiple accounts (Someone having more than one account)

Just so it's clear, it means the player was site banned. They would be booted from all active games.

im in a doubles, and in first round, one of my opponents was kicked. sooo... we play 2 vs 1

Yeah, but when the player gets kicked out, his partner gets all of his territories. It's not really the most fair to partners in team games, but there is nothing else you can do. They cheated and got caught.

but, is unfair for the other two, who cant eliminate one of his opponents, and to the one who plays alone.

maybe close the games with cheaters in it? i dont know... i dont like it.

I saw this happen in one of my first games, haven't seen it since.
