It's just sad how bad at the English language are today...By the 4th grade I could spell almost anything I wanted. Especially the most common words in the language, which are being misspelled left and right here.

We have about 1 public university per 1 million people in California. There are 10 University of California schools and 23 California State University schools, and our population is about 38 million. The UC schools have higher standards for admission, are more expensive to attend, and are research-oriented. The CSU schools are more community and vocationally-oriented. If I were pursuing a graduate degree in my undergraduate major I would consider a UC, but as I am pursuing a graduate degree in education, the CSU possesses a better infrastructure for my needs.

Population of the city does not necessarily determine whether there will be a university. Berkeley is quite small, yet houses the premiere public university in California. Fresno has about 500,000 people and has a city college, a state university, and several private schools, such as Fresno Pacific, Heald College, Kaplan College, and probably others.

I went to Clarkson University for two years and was in the College of Arts and Sciences (fucking terrible school). I was planning on going to New York University for two years in the College of Arts and Sciences (creative name, huh?) but it was too fucking expensive so I'm taking a semester off and am probably gonna transfer to a state school. Any University is better than Clarkson. Fucking shit hole.
