Troops per territory?

Is there a standard equation for figuring out how many troops you get each round (not counting continents), or is it different for each map?

If it's different for each map, is it possible to figure out what that equation is for each map?

in general it is 1 troop per 3 territs.(not counting continents)
there are a few maps that have it differently, as is mentioned on the map or in the legend on the map. e.g. Hive,conquerman, city mogul and a few others.

any specific problem you are having with a map, or was this a general question? (if the latter, see the instructions tab again)

You get at least 3 on normal maps and once you get to 12, it's the number of territories you have divided by 3. So, at 12 terts, you get 4. At 15, you get 5. At 18 you get 6 and so on.

On a few maps it is different. Like King's Court and ConquerMan.
