But isn't it good to play doubles or triples with a player with a low score? Doesn't that mean more points for me when we win?

Yeah, I guess you could say that, but all I want is every one in the alliance to be in at least the top 70 of the scoreboard.

You are really touching a funny side of me when you are talking about the game and not even joining the game, yet. Please, you told me you don't have a lot time, so join the game with a friend and get the game over with. We can confirm the deal during the game if you will.

Well, yes...but what I can't figure out is why Gavino thinks you need to try out in order to play with him.

Oh well. Not my problem. I found my trips partners the old fashioned way...I played against them in singles several times and realized we had a great time playing games together.

Well, it's a alliance that will work very hard to bring the whole alliance to the top of the scoreboard (#70 to #1). We will not leave anybody behind!

Remember there are only going to be 70 allies in the LTA. We need 65 more allies!

I do not think I understand. Are you going to get your alliance to #1 or are you going to get all your members into the top 70.

Those top 70 are the elite. it will take hard work and lots of hard thinking to get there. You may have to join another clan or alliance just to learn the better stratagies they may have.

You should set a reasonable goal and hit that first like trying to get 10 members up to sergeant or Lieutenant.

I amm NOT saying what you are trying to do is impossible, I am saying you need short term and long term goals!!!

it sounds impossible this is the most abitious thing i've heard of since i joined cc. i'm kinda tempted to join :wink:

edit: and if you are really serious about getting to the top, i would recommend just sticking with a couple of people, especially david, he's a great player. It will be easier to have a regular partner (i.e. david_wain) rather than 70 that you don't play with often

be weary of gavino07... in the two games I played with him, I had the distinct impression he threw them on purpose. He never once fortified me....I mean not even one army ever...I asked him to...he said he had big plans for me....they were to let me die

He begged me to show him how to play, then didnt listen to a word....Perhaps it wasnt on purpose, but his score is 640 and his record in doubles is about 25%

Id say its gonna take a while to get to the top with these stats....Im just issuing a warning here based on my experience. Its nothing personal, but before the game started, he started explaining that he might make mistakes because he had a lot going on in his life...and that he had a prom...and that he'd try....but it seemed a bit wierd, till I watched the games go down in flames....

Sorry Gavino...but thats what happened. Either you meant it, or you just didnt understand how to play, but I want people to know what they are getting into here.

you could try to convince me it wasnt true...im pretty reasonable, but I also trust my instincts

Its the fact that you didnt fortify me one single army...not one....ever in two games, and that you asked me to help you through them, and immidiately ignored all advice/ pleas....

and the fact that you mentioned you were going to make mistakes in advance

I never let on to this in the game, or when you invited me to this group, but that doesnt mean I didnt see what you did
