I've long wanted to see a Trench Warfare map. There was one in production a while back ago, but it stalled / was abandoned due to wanting to include some features in the XML that were not yet available for use.

interesting map, shame to see that there are no one working on it.

it was not exactly what I had in mind, the gameplay is also somewhat distant from what I have in mind, I make a draft soon, and an idea for a gameplay

yeah mibi's version was badass for sure. He knows a thing or two about making some good maps.

Interesting concept, but this looks... rather flavorless at the moment. I would encourage you to develop it more.

Except the USA didn't enter the war until 1917 and didnt really get troops on the ground until 1918.

I've also toyed with this idea and have a draft for a hex style map, but my computer is dead atm, maybe be fixed later today, if so I'll make a post.
