Comments: the map was being held by what I thought was a pretty 2 sided battle until welsh ran right over me ( which I know he could of been hoarding troops and such until I noticed in the game log 2011-09-23 02:02:32 - ? received 7 troops for holding ? which caught me by suprise since i was holding the only territory that is worth 7 troops on that map during that time and in my next move I actually attacked him from that territory. So I didnt know where else to report this too and I appoligize in advance if I'm wrongly accusing someone.

There's no single territory worth 7 troops. You have to hold all of the dark green territories + Nice & Savoy for a bonus of 7.

Edit: There's another way to have a bonus of 7 - Stati Della Chiesa, Duscato di Toscana and Romagna

Yes but they would show up seperate it would say
? received 4 troops for holding ?
? received 3 troops for holding ?

I was holding nice & savoy and part of the dark green
I even got the bonus for nice and savoy and the purple on the next turn

That's the way the bonus is written in the XML. The text does mention "If a split bonus is held in addition to BOTH zones, the larger bonus applies", but I wouldn't have noticed it if it weren't for BOB: http://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewto ... 27&t=91386

If you have BOB running, the "Text Map" clearly defines how the bonuses are structured. In this case:

Stati Della Chiesa, Duscato di Toscana and Romagna (7) Romagna(?) Stati Della Chiesa (3) Ducato di Toscana (3)
