Block PMs from players in same game *rejected*

Post by Rozebud »

Suggestion Idea:

To cut down on illegal secret alliances between players, block all PMs from a player to all other players in games against them.

Specifics:

Why it is needed:

Will put some teeth in the no secret alliances policy, by making it much more difficult for a player to contact any other player currently in any games against them.

No. Absolutely not. If me and a bunch of friends that I met over CC want to play a game with each other, why should we be stopped from pming each other about a whole bunch of other things just because we want to play against each other. This is definately not the way to stop secret alliances. The ONLY thing it would do is piss a lot of people off.

this'll never happen. there are legit reasons to PM people you're playing with and many other ways to contact people outside of CC PMs.

As I said last time this was suggested, I hope they use the site PM system for their cheating. When they get called on it, the mods can potentially see the paper trail. As Wicked said, there's so many other ways to communicate you wouldn't be stopping anything, plus there can be very legit reasons to PM someone you just happen to be in a game with.

NEVER! Firstly, I have heard it refused before and here are my reasons:
- people can communicate by other ways
- I like to ask players to play rt during games
- what if you have online friends?

I've played a game I think the first or second mafia game where I was a mason which I was also playing a game with I wouldn't have been able to contact my mason partner therefore making the role void
