We have 3 players who's game numbers equal 41. Who they are, I cannot say by rule, but one of them will surely cause a death each day by choosing to make a dead dude. The numbers are not all even or all odd, but the person surely is odd. Heed my advice town because once I state this, I cannot interpret any answers.

Okay so let's get serious ... the starting roles have provided some small snippets of information which a player knows but cannot directly say ... if I get what your saying. This information though is just too weird. If its based on starting position numbers then I am afraid that really doesn't help right now2 ... although it will be very valuable information later as the days go on and the three remain. I made a little program that calculated every possible combination of player numbers totaling 41. There are 46 unique combinations (hippo's method had duplicates) Here they are for reference as well as the player list I used.

At the moment it does us little, besides indication that low player numbers are statistically less likely to be scum then then high numbers. Even this assumption is invalid if the roles were assigned in a non random fashion. If we find out that player (pick a number randomly here) 17 was scum that would leave us with 18 possible scum but if we know that player 17 was scum and player 4 was scum, following the pattern would explicitly claim that player 20 was the 3rd scum member.

The major caveat to this is the whole thing is completely useless if there are more then 3 scum, but it still will work if there are multiple factions and we can distinguish between scum. Factions are a possibility, otherwise we could easily have a 10 day game with only one kill a night. It could go on even longer if we cannot come to conclusions as to who to lynch.

I used the info that I've seen and was allowed to post it to give out some info that IS beneficial for the townies to use and hopefully the smarties in the group will be able to figure out what is meant by what I stated since I am not allowed to clarify stuff that yall have interpreted from my riddle. I am still in favor of the bandwagon that was started on zimmah to come down to face their judge and jury on why they should not be our day 1 lynch. Fox if I really wanted to tie your head up in a logics twist why would I do it on day 1 when it's just a bunch of random crap. I would do it on a day when town was closer to discovering someone that I wanted to "protect" instead of using my eye of the tiger to see what is happening out here.
