I didn't even notice he/she has been here for a year.Chariot of Fire wrote:It's KA's cousin (someone in the family has to work). But yeah...interesting. One year on the site and never a game played. Just plugging insurance whilst making meaningless posts such as the one above.

Are we sure KA's cousin isn't just a spambot?
I think it's probably a misspelling made so frequent it somehow made it's way into the dictionary. Swedish is a closely related language to English and we call the Philippines for "Filippinerna" and it's citizens are called "Filippiner" which makes a lot more sense than the English translation.BigBallinStalin wrote: *Why is it "Filipinos" when their country is labeled "Philippines"?
I think someone already answered this, but I don't see it now:BigBallinStalin wrote:*Why is it "Filipinos" when their country is labeled "Philippines"?
It's been an amazing time for anyone who loves this place! A lot of milestones in a short period.TeeGee wrote:3 big ones???
200 maps
The Conquer Cup
game 10000000
+1Army of GOD wrote:200 maps and Game 10^6 were eventualities so I don't really care about them. They are not updates, they're just CC jerk-off sessions.
Conquer Cup and CCC were supposed to be huge but everyone can see through the mist and it's obviously just a shitty money-making scheme by lack. If lack truly gave a shit about us, he'd implement the suggestions that are rotting in the Suggs forum. Instead he ignores all of us and implements a direct attempt to make more money.

This site's membership has been steadily decreasing over the past 2-3 years. I believe this will do nothing to affect it.BigBallinStalin wrote:THOSE DAMN CAPITALISTS AND THEIR MONEY-MAKING WAYS!!!
If you don't affect their bottom-line, then there's no need for them to implement change.
However, if you leave en masse, they'll quickly respond to the loss in profit.
The problem is that hardly anyone values leaving over the lack of desired modifications.
So, CC will reasonably do it's thing, some may hold B&M sessions, but the bottom-line isn't affected.

Until you stop paying for your membership, then your position will become credible. I'm not saying that it's wrong for you to complain about particular CC policies, but it's apparent that their current policies don't really offset your willingness to continue "rewarding" CC.Army of GOD wrote:This site's membership has been steadily decreasing over the past 2-3 years. First, you should be hanged.Army of GOD wrote:I haven't paid for a single membership.
Not sure what this has to do with Matthew 24:7, but I digress.BigBallinStalin wrote:First, you should be hanged.Army of GOD wrote:I haven't paid for a single membership.
Second, you can't reasonably write off the hours spent in providing escort services to certain ConquerClubbers in exchange for the "free" premium membership, can you? Alas, there may be the day when you refuse CC credits and will insist on "Cash Only."

We are aware of decline in membership, or specifically, it is actually a decline in new sign-ups according to the data. We are investigating factors that have led to a drop in sign-ups, and once that is complete we'll have an updated action plan for boosting recruiting.BigBallinStalin wrote: ...My concern is that the CC owners don't perceive the loss in membership to be problematic...
Im in the same boat.Army of GOD wrote:I haven't paid for a single membership.

Don't just try to boost recruiting. That's entirely the wrong way to go about it. Fix your current problems, pay more attention to old members, and listen to the community. If you make the old members happy, you'll get new members as well - word of mouth and all that. Word of mouth of a happy customer is a 100 times more effective than any advertising money can buy. That is, if you want long term customers, not just people who come in, maybe buy premium once, and leave... if you want customers who are loyal to the site, who commit to it and help improving it.AndyDufresne wrote:We are aware of decline in membership, or specifically, it is actually a decline in new sign-ups according to the data.
