How many other colonels have 5 man games with nothing but ? These are just a portion from the last two weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No further clarification, just Cleared????? 30 - to 40 points a pop!
i was originally going to say look at those settings, they are as luck based as u can.. but then i saw they were pelo war and not classic.. so i feel that those can be good settings for such a map as they are used on fed war quite often.. im actually quite surprised pelo war is allowed to be played by question marks and i thought they would not be allowed to play such map
The reason some "complex" maps like Pelo War are not included in the list the New Recruits are banned from is that the list was not designed to keep them from playing "complex" maps as it's primary objective. Rather it was design to simply increase new recruit retention. By looking at some data, Lack determined that new recruits who played certain maps first were more likely to end up leaving the site before they completed 5 games. The maps that had the highest level of new player dropouts were barred from play by new recruits. So which maps were banned where only based on this data, not any objective analysis of map complexity. This happened quite some time ago, and I am not sure if the list has even been updated...

It appears that new recruits would also like to join games that has the most players to play in it - which is a 5 player game at the moment. Some want to get involved in large games as soon as possible. Right now, as I checked the collection of new recruits in Spyhunter's games, I feel there are still not that many as of this time. I can also see that he also sets up other maps from time to time. For now, this is noted.

the other thing is that I pretty much only play games that I start.. for those of you that "join" games, you likely wont join a game with mostly ?'s... but when you start a lot of games (in my case, thousands) you end up with games with ?'s once in awhile, whether you want to or not.
