I just played a one on one Dust Bowl game. The game dropped 8 of my areas right into the drought zone and I lost 8 troops before I even made a move.
My opponent had 2 in the drought zone.
The reinforcements were chained and I was only able to move one army out at the end of my first turn.
Needless to say I was pounded.
Thank-you Conquer Club for keeping it fair and keeping my spirits up.

Dustbowl isn't a very good 1vs1 map, for the very reason you found out! Some maps are much better for 1vs1 than others. I encourage you to check out: Germany, Macedonia, Madagascar, Fractured China, USA Map Pack maps, and a number of others!

Same thing happened to me yesterday--I had the two territs--I got pounded --I was amazed.

Sometimes you get fantastic drops, and sometimes you get terrible drops. That's what happens with random factors.

There was somebody on this forum who used to say, "If you don't want to play a game where blind luck is a factor, go play chess!" This would be a good place to remember that.

Try with Pelo war, maybe you will have much better drop.

There are 199 other maps to play. It's one of those maps I try to stay away from but if it pops up on random it does and I'll just have to cope with it.
