Search for 1v1 games on game finder with his name and you'll see a lot of games against low ranked players. On a lot of these players walls he's invited them to play games against him. I've dug up a sample of them to prove that it's systematical farming he's been doing. Not farming of newbies, but farming of very low ranked and experience wise almost newbies. He's first to initiate contact, they don't find him he finds them.
Is this acceptable behavior? Do we want field marshals to actively seek up low ranked victims and invite them for games? I think his intention is clear. He wants easy points. There's no reason to believe otherwise.

Do you see a pattern? He even uses the same phrases over and over again. I don't want to think about how many low ranked players walls he's posted these phrases on.

If GLG wasnt intentionally searching for players in this fashion, he would leave his games open for anyone to join as opposed to making them private. Obviously by making them private, he limits the chances of him losing to more experience players, by getting to hand pick who he wants to play.

This has been brought up multiple times before. Yes, he does it for easy points. Is it morally wrong? maybe? Is it against the rules of CC? The answer is NO.

GLG will not be punished because the C&A mods are responsible for enforcing the rules of CC. If you think there should be any CHANGES to the existing rules, I would suggest making a suggestion and work on getting support for it.

Furthermore, there are rules against the Farming of New Recruits which are the ?'s. However, he is not seeking out and challenging New Recruits.

Where does it say that I am filing this for farming? I'm not.
But, you are correct, this isn't farming. This is a Gross abusse of the game as is listed in the Unwritten rules, which is a totally different charge.
If the mods, clear this charge, then they are basically saying it is ok for the players who have been here longer to sytematically weed out pick on newer players to take points from.
I believe that would be a gross abuse of how this game was/is intended tp be played. He is doing very little for the benefit of this site, and all for self gain.

Its like when a mod says that this isnt a multi case, its a secret diplomacy case and should be re-filed. Everyone has always charge him with farming, which it isn't. Its a gross abuse of the rules, and should be filed as such.

I'm giving the mods away around the "farming" rule to get him. Now we just need a mod who thinks what he is doing, is an abuse of the system/game/site.

Well heres my experience with the General I ran into a bad run as we all do mine dropped me to private almost as soon as I hit private I was getting communications from the General .I believe he has some set up to blanket communicate when a players points get below a certain level ,Personally if thats all you got in life is your ranking on CC and the only way to get there is to prey on the new and seemingly weaker well My sympathies to those who encounter you in the real world .Yes the mods seem to skirt this issue with this player I do however agree with Evolution it is gross abuse ......How many have left after getting set up by this guy ? Ive read all of the Generals rationale about his game plan and frankly its all bulltweet.Play some people of your own rank and skill. CC has a responsibility to each and every member to ensure their on site rules are respected and followed

Seriously though, if the mods clear him of gross abuse of the game/system/site, then they really don't want to bust this guy at all. They would be inhibiting his play and condoning it.

It is just inside the rules of Farming.
But blatantly outside the boundarys of gross abuse of this site.

that is the part that gets me the most... people abuse the game and run off members/potential premiums, effectively HURTING the site/biz, and are let of relatively scott-free as long as they pay another $25. people post in the forums, have very little impact on the site, as less than 3% of members visit the forums, and they are punished more harshly and severely for words and breaking rules that have nothing to do with game play. why are forum goers punished more harshly than cheats and abusers of the GAMING aspect of the site? people are banned PERMANENTLY from the forums for posting words. people are let back COUNTLESS amounts of times after being busted for cheating in games without any problem by the administrators. this is another thing that CC needs to rethink/retool. people that cheat actually hurt the site and should be punished accordingly.-el Jesus negro

Well I am just filing this complaint because it seems the mods can't get GLG because of the technical end of farming as he isnt doing it to mew recruits. I don't know if anyone filed this under his previous name as a gross abuse, as opposed to Farming, but I am, because it is obvious.
I hope the mods do the right thing.

I think the only reason that everyone cares GLG, is because you only prey on the easy targets by inviting them. If you left your games open for anyone to join, then it would case closed. I know that I have been invited 4 times by you and it only happens when my ratings drop to a certain level.

GLG wasn't busted for multis (or at least, that's not what's being referred to). He had his previous username (which was commonly abbreviated as DH) changed to a different one because it contained personal information about him (this is the only circumstance in which the staff will consider a username change request), but it's still the same account.

when they say it should be re-filed as a SD case vice multi case it isnt cause they cant investigate it for both its cause the mods want the evidence or game/repeated beahvior displayed for them from the accuser outlining why they think the offender is guilty.

It has been brought up before, monitored, talked about in the shadows of the mod halls of what this charachter is doing, has been doing and continues to selfishly do. He is who he is, his rank has no respect as he is broadcast all over CC as the guy that got his points from luring in babies with candy.. Just look at him and laugh as we all do, and dont consume yourself with worrying about his skirting the rules line tactics. Policies on CC are what they are, and everyone gets spooled up at the C&A mods & hunters on why something is the way it is. You can offer policy changes in suggs & bugs & I wish you good luck but honestly you would be better off FOE'ing this clown and not worrying about it.

No different than anyone else in the top or for that matter no different than anyone above major. His system for scoring points and staying on top is just one that will always be scrutinized.


No different than the quad teams that beat up on lesser quad teams --really I could list 10 different types of systems that basically win against lesser opponents -but everyone should basically know them by now.

Not sure why it bothers people so bad. Are they jealous? What is the big deal. Whatever makes you happy on this site--do it.

I concur. One thing that's fun about this site is the various ways to "succeed." I'm usually focused on points, but from time to time go for medals. Currently, I'm hitting the tourneys a lot trying to get some tourney victories. It's whatever floats your boat.

Second, I'll say what I always say when these sorts of farming charges (or "gross abuse" as this one claims to be) come up. If there is a problem that allows players to gain too many points off low ranks, then it is a problem with the point algorithm, not the players. You want to stop this sort of point grabbing then you need to suggest that they reevaluate how many points are awarded when, say, a field marshal beats a private.

Overwhelmingly positive responses -- and NOT ONE "woe is me, I got robbed, I'm NEVER coming back to CC". Have the honesty to present a fair and balanced story guys. And the ONLY real complaint was from someone that didn't mind playing, just HATED LOSING.

I agree. Just look at the join games list and count how many dubs, trips, and quads manual freestyle games there are.

If you want to get easy points, there are always ways to do so. There's no way to police all the possible ways of doing so.
