Trouble installing BOB and maprank

Post by Scario67 »

Everytime I try to install BOB or Maprank from the ''How to Install'' threads by clicking on the ''click here to install'' links, it doesn't work. the page either never loads, or I get a Bad Gateway message. I am using firefox, just downloaded it a few days ago, so it's the latest version, and Greasmonkey is enabled. I'm on windows 7. Any suggestions?

I hope you are using the Conquer Club User Guides. They are the most up-to-date instructions and links available.

Hmm, it looks like BOB is not yet covered there.

However, Map Rank is, and you could start with that. If that works out, we can try to sort out BOB.

If you are already using the Guides, then, based on your symptoms, you may have a problem with a firewall or other security software. Do you make it to the userscripts.org page? Have you pressed the big green Install button? Do you then see a dialog box with a countdown which eventually enables the Install button?

Could you check the exact version of Firefox for us? Look at the About Firefox... dialog under the Help menu.

The scripts are currently hosted on userscripts.org, if that site is down (and that happens sometimes), the links won't work. Test whether userscripts.org is up, and try again when it is.
