It is always an advantage to have wonderfully pro-town townies.
As well as a few confused townies

Hmm I do not recall ever attacking Isaiah or Rodion ever......... ever....... hmmm
No you are right on that, I am obviously tired! Getting late here. It was General that did that on Sun Dec 11, 2011 8:49 am ...

UNVOTE VOTE MAXIMUM
I am confident that with the posts we already have, the mafia can be effectively deduced. My early predictions are TeeGee, Hippo, Rodion for mafia. We shall see after this speed lynch. I am not the only confirmed townie(I'm not going to continue to explain that I am semi-confirmed every time I say this, so this is the last time I mention bussing as a possibility.), so doc on me tonight would be nice. I retract that unreservedly (and FOS General in the process). But you still need to explain your way out of the rest of what I said. Do that and I'll vote for myself!!
Hippo - can you please clarify for point of record that this last block was intended to be a quote? (As of right now, it appears your vote has been switched back to me again... which, you know, could lead to my death.)
Hi general ... no the quote was supposed to stop at your word not ... I posted before checking and realised that I couldn't edit it and din't want to send it again but figured y'all'd get what I was on about.

L-1, everyone has to stop. Nobody is hammering before Teegee gets to claim.
I also find it pretty weird that a claimed VT wants protection from the doctor. Shouldn't a VT incentivate the doctor to protect other town power roles?!?!?!?!?!

FOS Maximum
If you had read the thread, which you clearly haven't, you would have seen (1) that no one has claimed a town power role of any kind and (2) that no one has even given us an indication of having one. Thus - as the only party who has loudly and logically made any moves whatsoever, I didn't think it was unreasonable to ask for protection even though I'm vanilla town. Perhaps volume and logic are the only power roles I need.
FOS Rodion for contributing nothing to the game whatsoever except for a last ditch effort to save someone the town has reasonable doubt as being scum, and to try and cast suspicion on the only party who has provided any solid arguments of anything.
I read the thread. I know nobody claimed a power role. But anyone here can potentially be a town power role, while you cannot (either you are a VT or a mafia who fakeclaimed). It makes no sense whatsoever to protect a claimed (and non-confirmed) VT.
I'm not trying to "save" TeeGee either. Getting a claim is standard protocol regardless of whether you are inclined to believe him or not. If he were to die and flip town cop, for instance, wouldn't town be better off by learning who he targeted last night and whether the target was innocent or guilty? By going for a speedlynch, you're only crippling town of valuable information. That is part of the reason I took issue with General's post some pages ago.
Also, Maximum, as much as I dislike doing that, someone has to say it and it might as well be me, so...
You are not nearly as smart as you think you are. With you being a non-confirmed VT claim, your brain is not a good enough tool to force the doctor into protecting youself.
I read the thread. I know nobody claimed a power role.

Teegee, you have to claim in your next post.
I am the Town Doctor, just like I hinted back here I bolded the generals quote for emphasis

and again hinted here
All I can say is the town needs me.. but in saying that, if I make it through the day.. will I last the night

What are your feelings on his failure to protect the town watcher?
Do you think a player that teaches others what to do (who to protect, who to watch etc) so that they won't f*ck up immensely like Teegee just did is scummy?

I agree, unless there is a counter-claim we have to accept what TeeGee says.
The failure to protect the Town Watcher is understandable in that the Doctor does not know who has been lynched until the next day. Clearly TeeGee thought he was scum or he would have saved him. Admittedly the statements made by TeeGee to date have been all over the place, but then - and particularly in day one - everyone has said odd things. Perhaps it is an experience thing, maybe it is a miscommunication. I am satisfied that there was a case against TeeGee, but if he is the Town Doctor then we can be assured he won't be here tomorrow (unless there is a role block or protector or something that can save him). On that basis, it would be my preference to leave it a (real time) day or two and if no counter-claim arrives then we should look elsewhere.
