For example in a six man game have spoils increase to 35 men and the next match would be worth 30, 25, 20 ect. in the same way they increased. When they return to 4 they would increase in order again .
Escalating spoils is to help the game finish in a reasonable amount of time, changing that to reducing spoils would increase the time. Just play flat rate if you want longer games.
