Nobel prize

We have Nobel prize for peace and the ones for physics etc. Would it be a good idea to give a Nobel prize (and the million for research) for people that do something good for nature? and then i dont mean Al Gore because he just shows what most of us already now but really people that for instance have found out the hydrogen car or something like that.

of course. with global warming and everything, that would be vital to the earth.

People who get to that level of genius don't work for the money or the prize anyway, it's just sorta an extra accolade. I'm not saying it's a bad thing at all, but the money would be much better spent investing in currently underdeveloped areas of research rather than giving it to someone who has reached their peak.
