Serbia's Euro 2012 - soccerghost WINS!!!

This is a 1v1 tourney based on the Euro 2012. Premium Players Only.

I'll be looking for 54 players to represent the 54 countries involved in this football tournament. (I've added Kosovo, to even up the Groups)
There will be three rounds. The Group Round with 54 players, the Pool Round with 16 players, and the Tournament with 8 players.

Group Round

In the first round, all 54 teams will be divided into 9 groups, predetermined by country. Groups will be listed below. This first round consists of a double home-at-home round robin. This means you'll play a total of 20 games against the other 5 teams in your Group, 10 on your "home" map, 10 on your opponent's "home" map. At the end of this double round robin, the nine Group winners, and the 2nd place player with the best overall record, all advance. If there are two 2nd place players tied for best overall record, they will play one single playoff on the Europa map. If there are more than two, they will play a round robin against each other until there is one team that will advance.

2nd Place Playoff

At the end of the Group Round, 10 players have advanced, and there are now eight 2nd place players left to fill 6 spots. These eight players will be randomly paired, and play a best-of-three, one on each home map, and one on the neutral map, Europa. The four winners advance. The four losers will again be randomly paired, and play another best-of-three, again on each home map, and one on the neutral map, Europa. Winners advance, losers are eliminated.

Pool Round

Once the 16 teams have been settled, players will be randomly divided into four Pools of 4, with two 1st place teams and two 2nd place teams in each Pool. This round consists of a double home-at-home round robin. This means teams will play a total of 12 games, 6 on your "home" map, 6 on your opponent's "home" map. At the end of this double round robin, the top two teams in each Pool will advance to the Tournament. If there is a tie for either 1st or 2nd, a head-to-head tiebreaker will be used. If that does not break the tie, there will be a single playoff on the Europa map.

Tournament

Each round of the Tournament will be a best-of-five series, 2 games played on each player's home map, and one on the neutral Europa. All five games will be played simultaneously. The grid will be as follows:

Game Load

I will send out 4 games a week for five weeks in the Group Round. In the Pool Round I'll send out 6 games for two weeks. The tournament, 5 games are played simultaneously. Therefore, this is a Premium Only tournament.

General Achievement Medals will be awarded to the winners of the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals.

IMPORTANT MAP INFORMATION
When signing up, you must select a map to be used as your home map. Maps MUST be chosen from the list below. Maps will be allowed or disallowed at my discretion. Each map may only be chosen by one player. Maps will be given first come, first serve. If the map you want is already taken, you must select another map. Players who join and do not select an approved, unselected map will have one chosen for them by me.
