Nukes

Post by Welshy »

when I used to play on a board three sixes counted as a nuke, so any country that was being attacked with three dice if 6's all came up attacker would occupy, it was a great rule, maybe it could be encompassed into the options>>> Vote?

The other day I rolled 5 6's... (Which of course was counter productive to me)

What should happen in this instance... Global Thermonuclear War?

Nah - just strategic nuke war - both get obliterated and 1 nuetral army is left on each territory.

that would be crazy dangerous though in those games where everyone goes up to 100 on one territory, one in 216 chance of that happening

That's when it really makes you shout out "YES" aloud lets face it as well as strategy the dice bring lots of twist to the game.... it's the same feeling as when you nuber comes in on roulette, also 20 armies are more likely to attack 50 if they are feeling "lucky" . a nuke in my expirience has never been a game changing event though it does have the potential to be on occasion

While I would normally agree with this guy, I'm bored, so I like the idea. Now good-night again.
