The "Random map" feature is sure to make for an interesting tournament, right? I hope so!
Info on what to expect is in the next post. This post is for entry requirements and overall expectations I have of you.
I apologize for anyone that this may effect, but freemium users will not be allowed in this tournament due to time constraints. Sorry again.
To enter this tourney....
1) Entrants must have 95% turns taken or higher (may bend the rules IF you can convince me that I can count on you to play your turns)
2) Entrants must be willing to get into their assigned games when they are sent out.
3) Entrants agree to stay in for the full tournament. If an entrant MUST drop out, he/she MUST PM me and explain why. Bad excuses will cause an entrant to be banned from my future tournaments.
4) Entrants must agree to unfoe any members in this tournament that they might have on foe.
Good luck, and have fun!

This tourney will start with 24 players and will consist of 3 rounds and an immeasurable amount of randomness.
Round 1: You will play 7 games in this round.
24 players. Players are randomly placed into 8 trips teams of 3 players each (hence Trips). Each of the 8 trips teams faces every other team exactly one time in a round robin gamestyle. Top 4 trips teams with the best W-L record advance into Round 3. Tiebreakers (if needed) will be decided by having the tied teams face off once more. Games for this round will all be 6 player triples, casual, random map feature, sequential, no cards, chained forts, sunny, 20 round limit.
Round 2: You will play 5 games in this round.
12 players left. Players are randomly placed into 6 dubs teams of 2 players each (hence Dubs). Each of the 6 dubs teams faces every other team exactly one time in a round robin gamestyle. Top 3 dubs teams with the best W-L record advance into Round 4. Tiebreakers (if needed) will be decided by having the tied teams face off once more. Games for this round will all be 4 player doubles, casual, random map feature, sequential, no cards, chained forts, sunny, 20 round limit.
Round 3: You will play 5 games in this round.
6 players left. Each of the remaining 6 players faces every other player exactly one time in a round robin gamestyle. Player with the best W-L record wins the tourney! Tiebreakers (if needed) will be decided by having the tied players face off once more. Games for this round will all be 1v1, casual, random map feature, sequential, no cards, chained forts, sunny, 20 round limit.

Went ahead and cut the size of this tournament in half, from 48 players to 24, effectively cutting out round 1 (random quads). This will make it MUCH easier to handle.
