Maybe lack didn't notice the subtle difference in the map images and got lazy?

This is just another reason why the foreman should be in charge of uploading...

My apologies & no offense intended but I do not like the map as it is. It is far too simple & basic for a city such as London. How much time have you spent in this bustling, lively sprawling city? No map of London can be complete without including the famous London underground or 'Tube.' it is still the best designed underground in the world & the map of it is famous.

"TfL's Tube map and "roundel" logo are instantly recognisable by any Londoner, almost any Briton and many people around the world. It has become a major pop culture symbol."

"The original maps were often city maps with the lines superimposed, but as well as being visually complex, this produced problems of space, as central stations were far closer together than outlying ones. The modern stylised Tube map evolved from a design by electrical engineer Harry Beck in 1933.[87] It is characterised by a schematic non-geographical layout (thought to have been based on circuit diagrams) and the use of colour coding for lines. The map is now considered a design classic; virtually every major urban rail system in the world now has a similar map and many bus companies have also adopted the concept. There are many references in culture to the map, including parodies of it using different station-names - an example being the official cover art used on tube maps during 2010.[88] Such references also occur in London advertisements for unrelated products and services."

Those symbols are copy-written and can not be used, as someone long time ago tried getting permission and was denied.

Who needs the symbols? The layout is not copyrighted & the names of London's famous monuments are not copyrighted either. Six basic territories plus a simple white blob for one of the most vibrant cities in the world does not do it justice. even the Portland map has a lot more detail, how does that make any sense?

No one's stopping you from making another london map with a more detailed gameplay. This one was made as a simple map, designed for small multiplayer and team games.

I think the starting positions could be adjusted a bit.

The #1 position is now Ealing, Hillingdon, Barnet,
and #2 is Kensington, Brent, Haringey.

This gives the possibility of one player getting a favorable drop in North where it's protected by neutrals if he manages to take out one territory...

So I could change the #1 position to Ealing, Camden, Enfield. This would make sure that at least north won't be surrounded by neutrals since Camden is a starting position.
