I am not sure if I am understanding this game entirely as it seems really unbalanced against the vig.

For a start it is clear the vigs alternate night kills.

Night 1: Attempted murder of capulet fails according to night scene, no other detail
Night 2: A accidentally soft claimed Romeo (ideal target for cap vig) is killed. no other blocks/docs mentioned
Night 3: No kill because the mont vig is dead.

How on earth are they meant to win with so few members or kills, perhaps some of the orange third party are aligned with them.

Also FOS at sg7 for predicting on day 1 that the vigs alternated night kills, that was an insane guess at the time.

I am not sure any more, I thought this game was going to be open and shut but it is proving to be difficult to work out the last few kinks.

I would like to here from new guy as to who he thinks the vig could be.

p.s. on reread blood green has been almost silent so could be replaced, even if his role is one of the more obvious ones to guess.

I get that, it just seems unlikely to ever happen. It is almost impossible to lynch a family member as the have solid claims and there is no benefit to it and they can only kill on alternative nights. How is that possible?

Also you have effectively claimed capulet, but I believe you are not the vig as the count would be a decent fake claim since general spoon fed you it.

Hmm it seems from the way you have been posting to me that you are a family member. In one post you said the vigs were needed for the families to win so to me it comes across like you are a family member. I could be wrong though.

I think he was speculating, but it is likely IMO that he is one of the family members. It's likely that most of the unclaimed players are family members.

About alternating nights: it was not an insane good guess it was an educated guess and part of my list of possibilities based on previous experience. We saw something similar with mafia NKs being alternated each night in CLUE mafia, and drawing from that experience I came to that conclusion. Anyway,

I would guess that there's an unforesen twist or maybe edoc and them are lying about alternate WCs or maybe the mod just didn't think that the alternate WC would be revealed so early. Maybe the vig's name would not be obvious and would be difficult to track. IDK. BUt you're right it does seem that this game is going to be easily winnable for non-vigs.

Oh and I read your post again and it does lok like you're claiming vig but I guess I can see how it could be taken a different way, so I guess you're cleared. Actually I cant clear you. nevermind.

I have never seen alt night killings in about 25 games and I wouldn't do it as a mod unless the factions were overpowered or you had an SK as well.

Yeah I am replacing sully. As for saf, unless I have understood the play poorly then modified busdriver doesn't seem a likely role for apothecary. Although it is emerging as a likely possibility than some of the oranges have WC linked to helping the vigs.

Personally I think the vig is the main concern atm, and I would say that it is likely chapcrap is the vig. I can't see why anyone else would vote for Romeo:

edoc never name-claimed, and now I see why, if he is indeed Romeo.

The thing I agree with chapcrap that edoc's post that one time we contradictory to what he said his WC was. However, I figured it was a matter of impatience rather than serious gameplay and so did not consider it vote worthy. I really don't think that voting edoc is a good reason to vote chapcrap, or at least it's not a definitive sign that chapcrap is the vig.

But, we need to find the vig one way or another, and this is as good a lead as we seem to have for now.

Pmc, thank you for the name claim. Now I only have 2 Capulets unaccounted for in my chart. I figured out all the Montagues and their names, as well as most of the other party players. As soon as we find the vig, I will post my info BEFORE we lynch him so that jgordon can roleblock a suspected Apothecary and not hit a doc (Just in case). Also, now that someone actually said Edoc's role, we need the Montague doc to be on him tonight in case of a Poison attempt by the Apothcary.

i read and saw my name. as of right now, after seeing the general only had two caps left to count, and chapcrap seems to have given away that he is the vig, i believe chap to be the vig. i am however, going to read again to make sure that i place my vote correctly, and so i will most likely be posting a vote for him, as well as my reasoning being what was said above (by many other people). get back to you in a little while, once i read my other forums and such.

I didn't even realize that edoc was Romeo. pmc is the one who outed that, not me. And him outing that and then forcing edoc to claim it seems pretty dangerous IMO. I already stated that I thought edoc was Mercutio. So, if you'll quit skimming, you'll go back and see that. unvote.

I have to say I think the mod intervened too much on this one, the vigs would have had a much better chance if we didn't believe general and zimmer made it pretty hard not to. Either that or we have mistaken the mods words and thegeneral and edoc are playing a masterful game but I severely doubt it.

As for this I see no reason to keep it quiet. Romeo is not needed alive for me to win, and my original WC requires him dead. Also it is more dangerous hidden within the thread where you could deduce edoc was Romeo from what he said but the whole "town" did not know.

No, I'm not gonna name claim, because I think it's stupid to just have a mass claim. I've already stated that.

Umm, that is pretty straightforward. If you can figure out who everyone is, it will help you win. Nothing about saying that everyone can win at the same time. It just says that some teamwork will be required for most people's WC.

The vigs don't kill every other night. That's a ridiculous theory. I already addressed that. First night, why would a vig try to kill anyone? They could easily mislynch someone from their own family. Second night, one (Benvolio) is still unsure because it has only been Montagues that have been revealed, along with third party's and the other tries for a lynch of Eldario because he thinks that Eldario is Romeo. Night three, there is only one vig left and he gets role blocked or chooses not to kill or the person he chooses gets saved by the doctor. Likely either the first or third choice. Highly unlikely that the Capulet vig (Tybalt) decides not to lynch when there are so many Montagues claimed.
