Pirate theme

Post by Lootifer »

Map Name: Pirates! Pirate Battle, Pirate War, etc etc, not attached to any name yet
Mapmaker(s): Lootifer (concept/gameplay), Crizzack (concept/art)
Number of Territories: 60-70
Special Features: The goal is to provide a genuine pirate ship to pirate ship style battle
What Makes This Map Worthy of Being Made: A theme that is long over due to be done well (have done some searching and this has popped up a couple of times but seems to have not quite got to the finish line, though not sure how good my searching techniques are).

I have drawn on inspiration from another guy who had a similar idea but I don't think it took off... Linky

Myself and Crizzack are new to this whole map making business but between my logic skills and hardline gameplay expectations and Crizzacks artistic and creative flair I think we can do a good job!

Note that the below image is about as crude as you can get and is just trying to show gameplay, I am about as artistic as a concrete brick, but rest assured Crizz is on the case and will post an update if you guys like the idea (ie from MSN: <Crizzack> To the pad & Pen! also need to have some floatsam with Rum & Hookers!).
