I'm new to this site. Not a lder player who started a new account. Ive never been here before really. But I am good at RISK played in college for years. I won 4 out of 5 of my first games and even shouldve won the 5th. I clicked on auto assault instead of single assault and the guy beat me fair and square.

My complaint is once I finished the 5th game my rolls have been completely crappy. Here's a copy:

Assault -30%
Defend -26%
Total -28%

I attacked a 9 with 15. i lost he had 6 left and i had 1. Then I attacked the same spot with a 9 against the same 6 and lost. He had 6 left and I had 1.
The same spot now with 11 against his 8 and I lost he had 5 left.

Are the dice set so that eventually everyone ends up about the same average. Cause i can barely take over any land in any game right now. it's horrible. I roll triple 1's a lot.

The dice are chosen from a random string of numbers.

Eventually, everyone's dice should be about even, as far as the numbers that they roll. However, you could lose every time and still have average dice if your opponent's are having their high numbers against you. That shouldn't happen overall though.

Keep it up and the dice should get better.

Your overall dice stats are dead on even with opponents mostly it looks like. Looks pretty random.

wow. Nice it can get worse. I just played a guy who is only winning 26% of the time but he totally crushed me because my opponents assault luck is +60% and my dice stats are all still high negatives.

You can believe me or not but it looks like the dice are used to keep me around 50% wins and loses. I went 4 out of 5 wins and then my dice started to lose or tie way more often. I'm lucky to beat a single with 4 or 5. Most of the time now I need 7 or 8 to kill a single, but my opponents run through my guys with a 6. It really gets old.

just make it fair. I don't think it is right now, but I guess it's easy to just let some other website do it for you.

Love RISK but disappointed with this online version.

Don't worry Jim, it gets worse. I know many maps and all strategies but when the dice turn on you there is nothing you can do??. Down on assault 3 v 2 and down on defense for the last 2 months..I keep trying but it's a lost cause.. So I try team games to minimize this affect and my team mates roll horribly with any game I'm in and so do I.. Yet other games they play in no problem and keep the rank of major or higher. Not me going down, down and down..there is nothing I can do about this.

So my luck or the so called random dice are fixed for me. The timing is the key and it seems I'm not a good player because I roll or my team mates roll at the wrong time, so I know nothing.

When i need the dice or my team mates need the dice, nope..then we get rolled. It will be very soon that my team mates don't want me in any games either..so sad. I think I will have to move on soon. How long can this keep up before it turns??

Seriously a mental issue, not a factual one.
You may feel it more then you lose 5-1, but you dont remember the string of dice you did have before. Your actual dice have been measured and found average, so it really is your own perception that takes you down this road.
trust me, dice ARE random, and sometimes that means you will lose when you had more dice to start with. There is nothing more fair then random. I think you are not looking for fair or random, but simply that a bigger stack should always kill a smaller stack. that however is neither fair nor random.

would you like me to merge your posts with the dice complain posts in GD?
Also, did you not just renew your membership? thats a waste. keep playing. in fact, if you can prove you can manipulate the dice, as you have stated quite often, why then challenge me... I like to complain about my dice too. it makes me feel less bad. But i know that whenever i have a big stack and end with 1, i am just playing lousy. sorry mate, you know who you are!

i got a mental issue for you .... check these dice stats and tell me its only mental ... you freak ... you are defending something you know nothing about ... ask lack himself about the dice file and how many times he has tried to rearrange the system

let me do the math for you ... out of almost 280,000 battles (not dice rolls)[279992 to be exact] ... i have overall -1% attacking .... so where is the mental issue? ... please explain o mighty defender of the dice file

if you have problems interpreting these numbers .. then you should not be answering anyone's questions about their dice and why this site is so lop-sided in 80% of its games .. .where 1 team gets all the dice and the other team gets none ... explain that as welll ... i can give you a list of players that see it, play it , and know this fact to be true .. .so please defend it rationally and not with some generic remark insulting the player asking for reasons (mental issue, ... i'll give you a mental issue with a stupid uneducated response like that)

I just think the site is lazy. They let another site control luck and then if you complain you get you don't complain when your luck is great.

I just want it to be even and fair. Then strategy well win. It shouldn't be huge mood swings like your mother in-law.

If the dice are so random, why should everyones dice be about the same?... that doesn't sound random... it sounds fixed. Random dice doesnt even out everybody to a certain average... your dice are crap.. coming in waves, as it was stated in another post, is BS, because my dice have been crappy for a couple of weeks... the only way i can punch through is to have an overwhelming number of troops, and I still lose a butt load.

The dice stats are so incorrect its not even funny. It may show that I roll a butt load of 6's, but it doesnt show that when I roll these 6's or 5's..... the opponent rolls the same and gets the win. Why is that?... a tie goes to the attackee?...

I think your logic is a bit faulty. There are some excellent discussion about Randomness and the Dice in the General Discussion! Additionally, make sure to check out the 'Battle Outcomes' tab of your Dice Stats, since that shows how you are fairing.

No matter what anyone says, if a dice roll is in any way computer generated, it is not random. Somewhere in the code, it is programmed to give bad tools and good rolls at certain points.
