I discovered that the way I entered the rules about advancement from Rounds 1, 2 and 3 could be misunderstood, so I have made a slight change for clarification purposes. The intent in this Tournament has always been that the players with the most points in a game (the number of players advancing changes by Round) will advance to the next Round. The possible misunderstanding stems from what happens if two players have the same number of points, but only one can advance. If two players have the same number of points, and only one can advance, the player that survives the longest will advance. No one has mentioned it, so it is possibly me just reading too much into what I wrote and how.

Just to reiterate, advancement in this Tournament and the winner of this Tournament is based first on the most Points Scored, and in the chance there is a tie in points, longevity is the second controlling factor.

To start we need 36 Players. If you want to be a reserve, let me know. The Tournament will consist of 4 Rounds. The Rounds will be set up as follows:

Round 136 Players

There will be 6 Games with 6 Players. The 4 Players with the most number of points in each Game (24 in total) advance to Round 2. Players will be assigned to games using http://www.random.org.

No, 4 Players from each Game will advance. Some of those players might have negative points (i.e. -12). For Example:L

Player 2 25 points
Player 1 18 points
Player 5 -3 points
Player 3 -10 points
Player 6 -17 points
Player 4 - 25 points

Players 2, 1, 5 and 3 have the "most" points, so they advance to the next Round. Players 6 and 4 are eliminated, because they have the "least" points.

anon, you are correct. A low ranked player that takes out a high ranked player has an advantage in points.
