I kinda thought of something... If people complain so much about bad dice and put up all these bitching threads there has to be someone benefiting from it... So the dice isn't bad...

WHAT?!?!?! Dice are actually equal?!?!... dude thats why they have the dice stats now, youc an look and see that overtie most people are completely even.

The dice may come out fairly even in the long run, but we tend to focus on the short run when the dice go to hell and you end up down bunches of troops. Seems most of the people I chat with are superstitious about dice... I might be a little bit

That's hitting the nail on the head. How many times have you been in a game where the first couple of rounds have decided the game due to bullshit dice streaks and then later you get insane dice, but the game is well out of hand at that point. Happens way too much.
Master Fenrir sums it best "I have noticed that true "good games" are an extreme rarity. It's usually one team raping the other. Victories are hollow and meaningless, and losses are infuriating. As a clan player, this means that clan war wins are hollow and meaningless and clan war losses are infuriating. I honestly don't see a point to any of it anymore."
I recently came across an Scientific American article about "Pervasive Optimism Bias". "According to psychologist Daniel Kahneman, in his 2011 book Thinking, Fast and Slow, 'people tend to be overly optimistic about their relative standing on any activity in which they do moderately well'."
I wonder if the opposite end of the spectrum, that is, some sort of "Pervasive Pessimism Bias" has a role to play when it comes to our perception of the dice.

Facts may be fuct, but they definitely can't count.
I just lost 11 armies reducing a 3 spot to a 1. Shit Happensand we have to accept it.
In the karmic realm of "intensity cube" rolls, I've had some
bitchin' hot dice recently too, but rarely notice it since that
just feels normal... like the way dice should be.

I totally agree with the short run, the randomness in most cases is bunk. On the other hand it doesn't matter if your dice stats say your breaking even, when you lose 13v3 at the begining and win 2v1 at the end when all you can do is pray he gets the "horrible radom generator". C'mon CC, you need to fix this crap man.

How do you want it fixed? Do you want the dice to be non-random?
Lol, you totally missed the point...........it's not random. The odds of me rolling 3 dice to your 2 dice and you winning at 3 to 1 odds is not random at all. The fact is, its rolling to keep your averages at win/loss ratio 0 percent or as close as it can. So, radomizing isn't to keep dice stats at 0 percent, radomizing is letting what happens happen. Just think about it......
Also, I don't know if "radomizing" is a word or not.......personally I don't care I used it anyways.

I didn't understand a word of that, either I'm missing something basic or it is incomprehensible, either way you haven't answered Natty's question, how would you fix things?

Sorry, but I don't think you know what "random" means.
how nice, i had nice dice and can trade with 3 spoils, so im having a lucky streak until i reach 1700 again, and than go down to 1200 after,
thank u so much, i kiss your asses, im so grateful now
The more I think about "random" (thanks for that link safariguy) the more I think that being truly random is impossible. I mean things are ruled by alws of nature and physics, so can it be truly random? THings can be random in the sense that we will not know the outcome or not understand how the outcome is produced, but I've lost faith in the true concept of random because it seems nearly impossible. If things can't be truly random in RL, they can't be truly random in a virtual machine either.
Yeah but like you said who really understands the true concept of random?
