Complainer: people dead beat, it happens. It sounds like she got frustrated with shit dice and didn't finish. There are much worse problems on CC; and skipping turns is low on the scale, but it's NOT cheating/abusing.

And I just checked: odds of 6 6's in a row is 1:46,656. . .7 in a row is 1:279,936 -- not billions. the problem is "it evens out" is total BS, espec is you lose big early, or lose to a low rank then beat a low rank.

Obviously any gross abuse of the game is forbidden. This includes but is not limited to: throwing games or deliberately benefiting from thrown games, intentional deadbeating, holding players hostage, serial teammate killing, hijacking accounts, systematically "farming" new recruits.
Normally I could care less about deadbeating, but don't join a team game and deadbeat leaving your teammate hanging. That's just not nice

Actually you are wrong GLG. It is abuse and it is against the rules. Please read the unwritten rules again and notice the sentence regarding intentional deadbeating.

frustration about dice is fine, but everyone gets there rolls from the same program... look inward tracy.. just because you've played risk for 30 years doesn't mean you're good at it... we all have bad dice from time to time... you care not to remember when you have had awesome dice.. and what you did is against the rules.... AND the fastest computer b.s. is just that along with the clicks remark.. you can download the same thing I have, and even with average speed, if you're a good enough player, you can win your share...

I appreciate he feed back on this matter and have mixed feelings about the whole thing. The odds are way higher then Gen Lee said and even though my years of experiance doesnt give me the right to say I am a good player, I was meantioning to the fact the dice on this game are not a chance roll..its a program that is made by some geek and will even itself out no matter what. I realize it doesent take favorites, but I am not dummy, I can see when the program glitches. I mean I attacked a 6 with a 24 and dont win, I was playing againest a major, yet when he attacked a 8 with a six, not only did he win the battle with out losing a man he also conquered a continent and left a border or 3..and when it comes to programs, and other things that allow you to start before everyone or whatever, shouldnt be allowed. I dont want a bunch of those programs downloaded on my pc, not to meantion I use my work pc at times. I would like to propose an option to either be able to surrender do to no chance of winning, or be able to leave a team game and use the players average dice roll as a ghost player...not sure what the answer is, maybe I am more traditional the most and would like to play a fair game, perhaps I should break out my board game...Peace...Tracy...

She then missed her next two turns, apparently deliberately, leaving her partner to twist in the wind, before she was eliminated. Sure, frustration with the dice is a normal part of any luck-based game (like the time I critically failed a defense roll in GURPS, and my dude ended up losing a thumb and a forefinger). The dice suck sometimes, no matter what dice-based game you're playing. Chalk it up to the perils of playing with random partners in speed doubs, I guess.
And GLG, if you're having problems with the dice, I'd love to have those kinds of problems. =)

Not that this is the place but the "glitches" referred to are not only experienced by Tracy. When jittery shit is happening the attacks are guaranteed complete failure. Now when the program connection is "locked in" and right there - it's successful attacks. 90% of the time it's the twitchy glitchy floaty interface shit. I'll keep my money.

A similar report from me was cleared as well. I was told that I'll receive a warning for spurious report. If I report such one more time, I'll receive a warning. I do not report for fun. I report due my conviction this is a case for C&A.

I should have looked this up before. Intentional deadbeating is doing so over multiple games. Once or twice out of frustrating is understandable, but doing so serially is a violation of the rules.
You know, I'm kind of glad to know this now, that CC doesn't punish someone for getting exasperated or frustrated. Not that I'm not going to go out and deadbeat in a game or anything like that, but this seems like a common sense approach.

the problem was she only missed 2 turns which i think is a joke cc only regards it as intentional if all 3 are missed. so what i hve started doing is if someone starts to deadbeat a game because they are losing i do not kill them instead i let them miss the 3 shots if everyone does this then we would have a case against them and put a stop to those who slow down speed games because they are losing. the other things mods need to look at is those who do this could also get classed as holding hostage because you cannot leave until the game is over so missing these games can slow it down by 15 mins. which in speed games could be a full game

We had an environment of skilled players for speed games. But it seems like everyone quit play speed games. Too much missed turns, deadbeating and impossible to have a speed game running without poor players which ruin games and deadbeaters.
If you play duo speed, you can't tell the other team to leave kill the deadbeater. What will happen if the "deadbeater" comes back?
