That's kind of the point of the blues. You feel depressed, listen to some of that relate to it and think. Yeah that sucked, I feel better now.

Everyone deals with that question. It's normal. At some point, if it doesn't go away, see a shrink (or at least a school counselor)

In the future, you'll probably be happier that you stuck it out. The older you get, the more options you'll have and that won't seem like the best or the only choice.

I'm assuming none of those loved ones died through suicide themselves, else you wouldn't even be contemplating it. You would realise the immense pain and hurt that suicide puts people through.

I've lost friends to mental illness, both teens and adults, and its a heartbreaking thing. However depressed you feel, they'll be some-one who feels worse than you if you take your own life. Maybe your mother or father or a friend... Would you want to put them through what you're going through at the moment?

In all seriousness, please, don't.

Killing yourself is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. For every bad thing that comes into your mind, try to think of something little that makes your life worth living, like a huge-ass bowl of ice cream on a really hot day, or seeing a puppy that excited to see you.

I too recently lost someone very close, and the above helped me get through most of the rough times.

Even though it may seem as if everything is falling to pieces, please, talk to someone you know, love and trust. Like other family members, or a close friend. Just talk to somebody, and get it off your chest. Ball your eyes out if you need to. Just do something about it instead of keeping it bottled inside yourself. That is the absolute worst thing you could do.

If you don't wanna talk about it yet, give it some time. Just wait until your comfortable enough.

But whatever you do, DON'T kill yourself. Please.

It doesn't mean that anything is wrong with you. Just that you needed an unbiased ear to help you through a rough patch in the road. If you are thinking of killing yourself, You need a safety net. People in this forum can't give it to you. Talk to your family members, friends, or anyone who can find you some help.

If you are seriously contemplating taking your life, then yes, I care!

I've lost people close to me in a fairly short amount of time. It's terrible and it hurts. I doubt that they would want you to end your life, but instead go out and have fun/accomplish good things.

Trust me when I tell you that tough times will always be around. Sometimes we all feel like just "screw this...it's not worth it". Give it time and you'll see that life is worth it. There are other people beyond those that you've lost who need you and enjoy your presence. Even if you don't think that yet.

Now now, I wouldn't say that it's dumb. It's more of him trying to get more support, in case he needs it. The more support you can get, the better off you'd be.

If people were truly honest, the No's would be much higher. After all, your death will probably not affect me or anyone I know; this goes for almost everyone on this site. You need to worry about how the people who know you would react, because unless you are a complete and total rat-bastard asshole, a lot of people would be shocked and grieved if you committed suicide.
