Week 2 is officially over, we now have only 28 players remaining in the tournament. This number is likely to drop significantly after the first couple of games, depending on the play of certain individuals.
well, just found out dragontrader is banned, therefore reducing our player count to 27, and making one of our 4 man games a 3-player game. This will keep the final as a 7 man game rather than 6.
In order to keep the payouts correct, his initial buy in for week 3 event 1 will be included, any remaining cash will go to the Big One pool.
WELL.. MADE A small calculation mistake resulting in an extra player moving in to this round. Since it was my fault I will allow this to go through, as it affects the overall play at this point if I were to change it. However, player is now eliminated due to actually being in the negative at this point.
I will however, add the money that would have gone to the BIG One pool to balance the final play ($3500.00)
It was brought to my attention that there is an issue with payouts for event 4. After much deliberation and checking, I noticed that if I make changes to the payout structure as it is right now for event 4, I would have members eliminated who then played games further in the tourney... who also may have won more money, and changed the outcome of the overall tourney face if I went back to adjust the payouts...
Therefore I will keep the payout as it is as I am currently up to event 5 and 6 finals, in which I have increased the buy in amounts.
It was my error in not increasing it to begin with. No sense in punishing players for my mistakes. The standings will stay as they are and continue along in the tourney as is.
We will be moving on to Week 4 after 6 events in Week 3. With the completion of this set of games, and with the raising of the buy in amount going up to $7500.00 we are down to 7 final players. They are:
