Thanks for the response. My only question deals with the logic of locking said thread... Shouldn't you have a discussion first and then lock/move the thread if needed, rather than lock the thread and then discuss leaving it locked or moving it?

I have only just located the photos, I didn't have time to search earlier today. I have now deleted the images.

When members of the community are accused of possible serious crimes, then there could be issues. If these claims are found to be true and we didn't act on them, what are the ramifications on the moderation team? Depending on what country we are in and our local laws, are we in some way liable?
The thread that was locked was not just talking moral and legal issues, it made accusations. That is the difference and that is my current stance on it.
It is now up to the global mod team and/or the admin team to make a final ruling.

Because it's nothing but a flame thread! ND is just throwing mud and making random obscene claims with little factual support. His own imagination doesn't count as evidence.
He does this all the time in different threads and gets away with it, I think he got away easy considering he started a thread completely dedicated to flaming and baiting a bunch of users.

I say change the rules and make flaming and baiting allowed. Just make sure to change it for all and not just for some users.
