If you ask me, group A is the one looking rather meh. At least C and D each have a couple of decent teams.Lootifer wrote:The pool setup is beyond retarded.
Pool B of death yet c and d are rather meh...
Yeh actually; all three are pretty feeble when you look at 4/4 pool B teams being pretty rock solid.Timminz wrote:If you ask me, group A is the one looking rather meh. At least C and D each have a couple of decent teams.Lootifer wrote:The pool setup is beyond retarded.

i think you can be 100% certain that if you pass the group stage you'll make it to quarter finals!Sniper08 wrote:lol even the english wont vote for themselvescomic boy wrote:4 votes for Republic Ireland and zero for England , reality on the one side and desperate hope on the other , bit like the case for atheismyou know its bad when you think your a top team yet your own fans think otherwise.
for the record ireland have no chance in winning but if we do manage to get out of the group stages then we'll get to the quaters i think. spain and italy in our group though so i aint holding my breath.

i guess im still in CL frame of mindbetiko wrote:i think you can be 100% certain that if you pass the group stage you'll make it to quarter finals!Sniper08 wrote:lol even the english wont vote for themselvescomic boy wrote:4 votes for Republic Ireland and zero for England , reality on the one side and desperate hope on the other , bit like the case for atheismyou know its bad when you think your a top team yet your own fans think otherwise.

I thought you were English until now. Why do the Irish support English teams?Sniper08 wrote:i guess im still in CL frame of mindbetiko wrote:i think you can be 100% certain that if you pass the group stage you'll make it to quarter finals!Sniper08 wrote:lol even the english wont vote for themselvescomic boy wrote:4 votes for Republic Ireland and zero for England , reality on the one side and desperate hope on the other , bit like the case for atheismyou know its bad when you think your a top team yet your own fans think otherwise.

your guess is as good as mine but personally for me football has always been the best sport for me and i couldnt be bothered with gaelic or hurling and my famiy has a long history of supporting Man united so i just naturally support them.pmchugh wrote:

When you live on a shitty rock right next to a bunch of nice places (rest of europe) you tend to turn into a grumpy angry bunch of whiners.Army of GOD wrote:Do Scots hate the English?
I've never understood the whole British Isles thing
whole thing should be on espn or watchespn.comArmy of GOD wrote:I'm not sure if the games will even be shown on the major networks in the US, but I'm rooting for France.
I haven't followed international play since the CONCACAF gold cup, so I have no idea how good some of the teams are.
No it is only a playful hate, nobody really has any problems with England (except perhaps a few of the more mental IRA sympathisers). There is an independence referendum coming up in Scotland and most likely Scots will choose to remain part of the UK. Almost all Scots want England to lose at the Euros though as they are footballing rivals and they take over the TV coverage here with everything England and it gets annoying.Army of GOD wrote:Do Scots hate the English?

I think it is a shame you don't support your own leagues, they would improve a lot if they could get bigger crowds and TV audiences.Sniper08 wrote:your guess is as good as mine but personally for me football has always been the best sport for me and i couldnt be bothered with gaelic or hurling and my famiy has a long history of supporting Man united so i just naturally support them.pmchugh wrote:

Blanc has been doing a good job so far, but yes France is an outsider at best.betiko wrote:wow an american supporting france for the eurocup, that's unexpected!Army of GOD wrote:I'm not sure if the games will even be shown on the major networks in the US, but I'm rooting for France.

i think the best we can do is semi finalists, meeting italy in quarter finals then losing vs germany or netherlands in semis.

yea ref is just shit so far , too many soft yellows given both of sokratis' yellows shouldnt have been given the first one was a 50/50 in the air and the second the polishplayer was already falling down.GreecePwns wrote:ARE YOU SERIOUS????
This is such bullshit. I don't care that we've played worse. We were just getting back in the game and the referee screwed us in all of 5 minutes. We should have 11 men and it should be 1-1 now with than handball.
