Points Calculator / Predictor

Post by ignatious »

Howdy - I made a little calculator that will tell you how many points you will win/lose in a given game. It's quick and a bit crude, but might help if you want to see what you're getting into...

That's great :D

When I try and get my rank back up I can imagine using it quite a lot :)

Thanks

It's pretty cool... but I found a couple of bugs

Players Current Score YOUR Point Adjustment YOUR NEW Score
IF YOU WIN (Solo) 839 + 137 976
If Player #2 WINS (Solo) 1706 - 57 782
If Player #3 WINS (Solo) 1208 - 89 750
If Player #4 WINS (Solo) 1182 - 91 748
If Player #5 WINS (Solo) 880 - 130 709
If Player #6 WINS (Solo) 763 - 152 687

If Player 6 wins, he gets 152 points, sure, but he doesn't get them all from me.
he will only get 22 from me

Also, if you set a third player as a solo player, but don't put anything in the box, you get a Divide by Zero run-time error
To achieve balance, first you must grow.
To grow, first you must learn.
To learn, first you must listen.
To listen, first you must shut the hell up.

Ok, fixed the calculation. I will add more error-handling when I can if user enters something that doesn't make sense...

I know this is kind of old, but you seem to be still active on CC. Do you think there'd be a way to where you could input a game number and have it output the same type of chart? THAT would be convenient! :D

Dead link, that's fine. It should be made into an add-on anyway. Can someone who knows what they're doing help? I, uh, think I know what HTML is.

It should at least be removed from available tools as the link no longer works.
