He's Scottish anyway,so no worries O:)
Keep away your jingoistic nonsense from tennis. This BS belongs to football all right but tennis is an individual pursuit. You either like the player (for the game she/he play or just as a person) or you dont. And this should have nothing to do with player's nationality...

FYI, I was all for Roger yesterday. I find Murray's tennis uninspiring and Murray himself a bit of a moron. And, anyway, Murray should not even be in the final. What is happening with this line judge who gave 12 footfaults to Big Ivo? IMHO, Big Ivo is lethal and fun to watch on grass, Murray would not pull through without the judge's help...
Yeah, a tennis player ranked in the top five in the world, who has been in the finals of a fair few of the major tournaments, and beaten Federer, and Nadal, and Djokovic, must be in the finals through luck and the help of a judge. Idiocy.

There's stupid analysis, and then there's idiocy. Few players look good next to Federer. Your analysis falls into the category of idiocy.
Rankings are on paper. I have a feeling you do not know much about tennis. Here are some of the references, if you want to learn:

I actually watched the match to see how Andy would cope with Big Ivo. And I tell you what: the 4th set tiebreak would have been Ivo's if not for the wrong footfault calls...

Whoosh, thats the sound of my joke going right over your head.I'm British, born in England,it's a long standing joke among us when a Scot looks like doing well that they are British when they win and Scottish when they lose. It's the complete opposite of jingoism, actually poking fun at such nonesense.
Just realised you either are British or live there now making your post even more mystifying... :-s
Yeah, I guess I have chosen the wrong one to reply to :) But I do dislike this sort of headlines

Wimbledon is the best tournament in the world. The crowd usually supports both players, admiring good plays. Yesterday, the crowd was very warm to Roger. And all this jingoistic nonsense diminishes both the game and the tournament!!

Luckily, the commentators were very nice yesterday. Boris was daft but that was OK. Huge contrast with the ladies final on Saturday where McEnroe was a total disgrace in his support fro Serena.

From your rather daft first "article", or more correctly, "uninformed opinion piece":
Croatian Ivo Karlovic has made a career based (pretty much) on one shot – his serve. Yesterday Andy Murray beat him 7-5, 6-7, 6-2, 7-6 in a match where Ivo has 11 foot faults called against him.

Without seeing footage of all the ‘offending’ serves it’s hard to know for sure what happened but it seems absolutely absurd that a man who makes his money from his serve would make that many errors.
The second link is just a report that the dude said he didn't footfault.

A conspiracy among some of the top tennis players of all time, the BBC, and the judges on court? One might have hoped they'd gone all the way and given Murray the final.

Still, I should have expected a bizarre conspiracy theory from a poster named after a bizarre conspiracy theory.

Yeah, the whole Karlovic thing was just sour grapes.

If you want an honourable player look no further than Marray, during an important tie break, he admitted to touching the net and gave the points to his opponent, even though he hadn't been caught.

Aye, a gold medal beating Federer to become world Olympic champion, then the US open beating the reigning champion Djokovic. Good stuff.
