Is there anything you've wanted to complain about in thread, but self-censored because you would probably get lynched for it?
For me, it's:
Why do we have to drag every day out to the last five seconds? Yes, discussion is good, use the time we have and whatever, but can't we ever just say "good enough" and settle something without needing the mod breathing down our necks with a deadline?

For me it's people who don't take chances on players just because they cover their tracks good. They want information yet they hesitate to actually get it, instead half the time it's everyone bullshitting around about wanting information or wanting to pressure someone and not doing it.. It pisses me off because they expect everything to be handed to them on a silver platter...

I only say this when it's like PotC and I miss a whole day because someone got lynched in like 12 hours. I don't want it to happen again.
"Are you really gonna be idiots and lynch the obvious town while the scum gets away?" Oh wait...i do say that.
I think I'm usually pretty straightforward. I may not be quite that blunt but I usually get my point across. The only thing I may hold back on is personally insulting players now and then (usually this is just from frustration anyways) and I'm not going to start here.

This is why my games often have much shorter deadlines. Whenever I play I find that the decision is usually made a couple days to a week after the day starts but no one will hammer because "there's a lot of time left and we shouldn't waste it." Then a hammer is thrown two weeks later a couple hours before the deadline. Frustrates the hell out of me.

An inherent difference between old school games and how they're run now. The shorter and tighter deadlines force activity and I noticed a lot of just lynching the inactive in the older games I was in. The longer deadlines give everyone time to reason out some good cases, although I might consider instituting deadlines at the start of every day just to keep some semblance of continuity.
Deadlines cut both ends... HandingSetting one means the game is going into a stall and you want to prevent that, but what happens is that people will actually use this deadline as their end point. God forbid anyone gets lynched two days before we reach it.
I play a werewolf-variant of Mafia on a different board (nothing like mafia really, but still fun) where lynches occur every 2 RL days and nights technically last about zero seconds, because all lynching votes are sent to the mod along with actions. This is really stupid for two reasons. 1) you can't decide who to target based upon the lynch of that day, and 2) people who don't announce their vote are unpredictable, which is basically everyone during the first three rounds.

I usually will hold back unless it's something that I find completely illogical for that time.

Turns out that harrassing people and calling them retards leads to them not liking you, so I would wonder if you really are surprised. He made a list of guys that pick on him and you were in it. Newsflash.
If I'm in the game sure it would fit since I don't like them either. Being that I hadn't even made a post in that game, I found it quite ridiculous since it was irrelevant to the game that they are currently in.

This is NOT a bait or flame thread. Leave remarks that are more than unsavory about other members of the site to yourself, even if you feel that they are warranted.
Let's follow our own advice and not make this site any less enjoyable for others, shall we?
I hadn't even seen any of that until you posted that message. Sad. Just...sad. When you start making racist or other such hateful remarks, that just says something ugly about you.: (
