That changes things. I doubt very much he would be a mason ed elite body guard. He said he had an extra ability NOT abilities.

ok so i'd like to fos cms5 and militant for submarining.
cms has been logging in each day and even posting in other mafia games and all sorts of other threads except this one. his last post here was 6 days ago and it came after vodean said he'll prod him. also in the meantime he posted 29 times in other places. so he clearly has the time to post but for some reason not in this thread. i'm very suspicious about this.
as for militant he's simply very inactive. only 3 posts in the last 11 days. at least all 3 posts were in this game but still i find it too little. i'm less suspicious here since militant seems to be inactive everywhere not just this thread but still i don't like it.

I've been away for a while but does a serial killer usually have a knife and the mafia have a gun? With regard to speculation about how we had three deaths, I don't think it is worth it. Vodean said this would be a classic mafia game but we already have a bodyguard/mason and a possible serial killer so I don't think we'll be able to predict a whole lot. As for DiM's point about submarining, if cms5 has been posting elsewhere and seemingly been avoiding this thread then it is very suspicious and worthy of pressure (he might post soon anyway as Vodean has threatened a prod) . As for me, I told you in Jak's game my meta was to be somewhat lethargic, and I proved it to my embarrassment in that game. I'll re-read anyway.

As we have nine players, three are probably scum. One is dead so we have two left. If one is a serial killer as the scene seemed to suggest, the two don't know each other. Of the four possible candidates for today's lynch, two are town and the other two are scum. Supposing we lynch town today, and perhaps as many as two more die in the night (they'll kill the confirmed and the cop if lucky and don't both go for the same one), we'd have three left with one scum and as much information as we have now. If my assumptions are correct, no lynching would mean we'd have four alive tomorrow but it would still be lynch or lose because the scum could easily joint by forcing a no lynch. Therefore we must take our chances today and hope we hit scum so we'd have four alive with either the confirmed or the cop and we'd be in a much better position.

True, I hadn't considered that. It is, however, not very likely that both you and the busdriver decided to target LV. Still, it means LV is not 100% in the clear yet.

I doubt this game started with more than 3 anti-town roles. A 3-1-5 setup would be nearly impossible to win, if it was 4-5 Town could already have lost. So either there's a SK and 1 scum left, and town can make a comeback even from a position where it doesn't have the absolute majority, or there're 2 scum left. Considering the number of deaths there must be some kind of killer besides the scum, SK, joat/vig, or maybe even both.

I agree with militants assessment that we need to lynch today. The question is who.
CMS and militant himself would be the obvious targets because of their previous low activity, but with CMS about to be replaced maybe we should put him on hold.
