Vote hopping? I thought my only votes for the day were count and then to yomiel? I may be wrong though, I honestly can't remember and I can't really skim through pages on a smart phone easily. I'm happy to respond if you quote the posts in question.

@Jonty: to your point about following the clear, I guess I have been playing too much epicmafia lately... It's a standard thing there where as with forum mafia not so common I guess. The main reasoning is that if I don't feel strongly on a case I kniw the opinion of the cleared's is town based. So I would not be influenced by scum.

And what are you talking about with the saf point.. Are you referring to a different game because I honestly have no.clue what you meant :S.

In Greece Pantheon, saf tried to construct a case against me, based on the fact that the D1 lynch was town, and they had a small case against me. Saf was scum. I was using that as an example of when using cleared townie's logic is scummy.

As with yesterday, I am still somewhat suspect of shaggy for vote hopping, a case which I don't believe he ever replied to.
BTW, this is sort of meta, but is it likely sam/vode cannot possibly be scum? After all vode asked to replace back into the game, which while a bit ignorant an action in itself, I doubt any but the newest of players would possibly suggest as a scum role.

well i also asked to be added to the replacement list in beach mafia where i was mafia godfather. im not saying anything either way, but IF sam dies AND hes town (or non-mason of any sort, rather), then i would like to be added to the replacements list.

Well everywhere is definitely cleared, if campin is truthful then he couldn't of killed. If campin is lying then he is the remaining scum.

That said I think campin is telling the truth, despite him still being alive today.

I don't have any leads atm. I don't think the people pushing the Yomiel vote are cleared, it would have been an easy bus. But it is a good place to start and narrow it down. We still have two mislynches before 3 person lylo.

I am willing to follow everywhere's vote if he has strong feelings on a case.

you are always quoteing how many lynchs we have left or mislynches are they the same thing?
and you always have rode on someone else's vote, you stayed silent for a long part of D1, now your worried because I haven't spoken for a while and your trying not to seem like in a hurry but you want to get the lynch thing going pretty soon you even give a day count. are you in a hurry for night? did you screw up and not take out Campin because you weren't sure if he was the jail keeper? you want others to come out if they are innocents? what you looking for? covering for your mistake,? you voted me because you say i was defending yom, I just thinking out loud, I was giving my reasoning for my train of thought. I was wrong , yom ended up being scum, a experience player fooled a newbie, Wow I don't think that ever happen before. anyways I'm not really sure how I want to vote yet either, but i'm suspicious of you shaggy

@Jonty: fair enough. But I still think looking at the opinions and cases of a cleared townie is valuable. Everybody else could potentially have different motivations. This is a case where we have someone who is irrefutably town.

@count: I might get my terminology with lynches and mislynches mixed up. We have 2 potential mislynches. And I was never trying to rush into night or rush the lynch. I was rushing for your response so if you claimed or put up a solid defence we could explore on someone else.

And yep you caught me... The guy who put forward a long post on why campins claim is valid forgot to lynch him [/sarcasm]. The fact he's alive means one of three things, that scum didn't kill him due to inexperience or mistake (likely). The scum have a plan for keeping him alive (unlikely and stupid by scum). Campin is scum (very unlikely in my opinion, but I'm not ruling it out 100%). Option one seems most obvious.

And with the innocents coming out I'm still not sure whether it is a good idea. With a cop with an inno we would have a potential of 4 clears with 3 lynches remaining. That said there is a lot of potential for fakeclaims so I'm not sure it is such a good idea. What do others think?

My vote is staying where it is. You may have just been putting thoughts forward on day one, but I would assume it is a case of scum buddying, trying to defuse a situation on your partner who is about to be lynched.

One thing I haven't done yet is gone back and look at why neb was killed. Will re-read to see if he was pushing on to anyone else day 1.

A lynch: is where the alive, choose a player to die in the day via a majority vote.
A mislynch: is where the lynched is town.

I re-read the thread. It was hard to pick out anything useful, but I did notice one common thread: We are all accused of being members of the shadowy organization D.A.R.K.L.Y. (Demagogues of Anarchy, Reaping, Krime, and Lynching Yomiel), except for one of us: Belesie. He was the only player to receive any defense from Yomiel, something that she did many times:

This in response to me voting for Belesie. This one has extra irony, considering that 2 pages earlier she voted for shield because he was inactive.

I'm so confused. I don't get how that clears things up. Count explained the inactivity, which was never that weird in the first place, given the circumstances.

And Sam, you have to be more specific. I was never voted for a good reason, and me being defensive makes sense when you've got people trying to kill you and are only one vote away from that happening.

I don't think Count should be pushed to claim. There's really no case against him at all. The game had only just resumed, and before the hiatus, things were kind of crazy.

Add this to the fact that Count was more than eager to vote against Neb, then I think we have a good case. However, I do not feel it is right to nab someone solely because of the actions of another player, so I'm not going to vote for him yet. I do, however, want him to come here and post and defend himself.

well, the only defense I have is me being new and don't know what the hell I'm doing. I don't know how to defend myself any other way. I don't know why Yom stood up for me, maybe because I was the only one not rip her a new one ( my opinion is she deserved it) I just saw a lot of personal stuff be thrown around it kinda turned me off of mafia. but now the game is different, I kinda like it but I don't even know how I got into this position.

do you think that who ever took out Dan draper did it because they didn't believe Campin , and now that everyone say's its a newbie mistake, so it must be me, do you think the guilty party is just going with it? what do i do in this situation now, what do I do to prove myself?

I am not sure if claiming is a good thing for you to do or not. That's up to you and your strategy.

By claiming you tell us who you are and what role you have in the game. But whatever you do, DO NOT quote your role PM. You can paraphrase it: Give us a name, and a role. Much like Campin when he came out and told us he was the Jailkeeper.

For the record (and I have said it before) I am a newbie too, so if any of this is inaccurate, I hope the experienced contingency will correct me .

The show is only being used for flavor. Actions of the characters and other happenings on the show may be used to dress up scenes but they will have no bearing on players roles.

I have selected 9 characters from the show and I will randomly assign alignment and roles for each character based on the structure described below. So anybody can be town and anybody can be scum.

so yeah, good guys, bad guys, main, side. doesn't really matter, it's all random.

It's probably best that we do use the MisLynches that we have, so I'm in favor of doing this
