Just to throw my tuppence worth in, I'm no Monty Python fanatic, but I've seen all four in the poll, (and have 2 on DVD), but I'm surprised that Life of Brian only got second place, and by such a margin.
I think I'll have to rent or buy Holy Grail (it's 15 years since I last saw it), to see why it's supposed to be so superior...

Oh yes, I remember the coconuts, lol. Cheaper than real horses, I would imagine, especially if they blew too much of the film budget on the other stuff!
can't forget that there are only what 5 or 6 actors that play bloody 200 people in the movie. They must have saved a bundle on the animation to... especialy when the animators died ( can't pay a dead person ) .
Oh i almost forgot to reply about the Monty Python Clan thing!!! YES WE NEED TO MAKE ONE!
