So far I see a few supports and several general "you deserved it". I do NOT see any good rebuttals of the dozen points I made. Just goes to show lynch-mod mentality and no logic to it.

I really think you need to take your "talents" elsewhere. I know my opinion means nothing to you or anyone else in this community, and thats fine with me.

However, I know theres no way you could get to the top rank w/o "bending" the "not so clear" rules. And I certainly know you dont have the balls to prove otherwise.

Sigh...perhaps I should've clarified. You seem to believe you can turn off your modness, but it doesn't work that way. Your name doesn't suddenly lose its color when you add that your contributing with personal sentiments. It's not a get-out-of-jail-free card. Because you're a mod, your unreasonable comment feeds GLG everything he needs to stay motivated. This kind of guy you can only kill with kindness if you're a mod. Besides, the community has and will continue to tell GLG to put a fork in it, which is exactly what you want.

It's not like this is the first time this has actually happened in the world (probably a poor example, but meh), the National Hockey League actually did almost the exact thing with an incident. I won't go into details, but the offending player did a tactic in-game, a lot of people griped, few thought it was unique. Following that game, the NHL passed a rule stating you can't do that anymore. Did the player whine and complain, then try to twist it so he could continue? No, he decided to go back to what is in the rules.

You could argue this doesn't apply, bit I think it does, considering its basically what happened here.

Were you thinking of Avery rule? When he blocked Brodeur's vision?
