Hmm, lets think on this.
If you are in a road race and you slip some laxatives in your rival's gatorate, it's not necessarily against the written rules of the race but it would be considered by many to be cheating.

How is that an analogy to this? And no...I'm quite certain that would be LEGITIMATELY CHEATING, not "considered by many".

Considering there aren't too many real life analogies to risk, I would say it's as good as any(cough...call in contest..).

The analogy revolves around the fact that something that is not necessarily in the "rule book" can still constitute as cheating. Elementary, my dear Woodruff.

I promise you that tampering with someone's drink in that context IS in the rule book and would be considered ACTUAL cheating. Elementary, indeed.

The fact that I have no actual knowledge of road race rulebooks (the whole thing is a big fabrication if you can believe that) does not affect my point as while it may not apply to this specific example, you can use your imagination to find one that does. You didn't come up with any actual evidence supporting the contrary while another player submitted the fact that it is indeed in the written rules of a road race. While this has yet to be proven, its at least specific information.
My analogy was legitimate however in its essence. There are indeed situations where a rule is not directly stated in a "rule book" but is still cheating regardless.

I propose all of us posting here in this topic (if there are 8 or so), get two fog games going on a medium to large map. We can make one game a free for all of position posting in game chat, and the other free from all such position posting.

What this will solve, nothing, but at least we will play in 2 games?!?!
