well there are too many to effective be portals... i think of portals as mystical things that are in relative scarcity, the way its set up now its like wholesale portals... if you want to put portals in then put a few in that connect different parts of the map, but i still say the the 'portals' should be hall ways.
I did think they were one way hallways or similar, not portals.
I also agree with the comments regarding the 'feel' of the map as being just a bunch of boxes.
It is the concept of a labyrinth type map I like.

jota's map wasn't finished. If i had seen that thread i would have said the same thing. As your making it less boxy, don't use boxes. If you look at the tunnel in the siege map you will see it started off as boxes but then i cut out parts tohe edges so it looked more scraggly.

keep it simple, keep it clean- the focus of this map is the arrows.
that doesnt mean dont change the graphics at all, but make sure you dont compromise the clarity.
Do you need an excuse to have a war? I mean, who for? Can't you just say "You got lots of cash and land, but I've got a big sword, so divy up right now, chop chop."

What version of the map is that? It has an arrow going out.

Not just the pink, but also the three territories surrounding the pink.

And you can add the three blue rooms right under that; they only lead into that corner too.

Yeah you're right Evil, I was only looking at individual rooms not the whole picture.

Spin, I think you'll need to go through and make sure you can get from every room to every other room, doesn't matter how convoluted the pathway is tho'!!

:) Not at 1am I can't.

Also work on the rooms' appearance, try to make them 'less blocky'

(Maybe Widowmaker could give you some advice)
