I doubt that the reason people don't buy premium is the price; their dignity prevents them from wasting money on internet games.

Or like in my case, I just feel that four games are enough.

I think $20 is out of a lot of peoples budgets as well. Many people have set budgets or more pressing bills to pay and a high initial price of $20 is too much. They would be able to afford $1.6 dollars a month. They may even be able to support $2-3 a month even though it more in the long run.

standard barrier to entry economics.

Ok, i cant afford a movie from walmart that costs $20.

I know, I'll ask them if i can set up equal payment so In a year, it can be paid!
Life doesn't work that way :)
Its a small fee, its a one time thing.. deal with it..
If its too much for you, then get a job, or stop bitching about it.
I'm pretty sure somewhere along the line someone has to pay some sort of tax on the money thats being processed, the less it is probably the more tax.

Also, if they vary the amount, then its a lot more work for Lack, because then he has to ask himself if he should allow the people who pay less to set up private games.

So, for these reasons and many more, you should quit your belly aching, put forth the $20 (most of you either do, or could make that in an hour or 2) and put it on here, if you're so possessed.

If you're still complaining about the price, take a long walk off a short pier :)

I paid for a premium within a week of my first game so stfu. i was merely stating the barrier to entry is perceived as high to some people, especially on the internet where so much is free.

Umm, this site is free.
If you want a PREMIUM membership, you have to pay for it..
no inbetween, pay the entire thing.. enough said.

And by the way, why do you have an opinion against the $20, you seem to have bought it, and not said a word about it..

So be happy, play your games, enjoy your premium membership, and don't tell me to stfu, and no one will get their feelings hurt

I guess if your from a poor country and you only make a dollar a month it might make a difference, but otherwise, it seems rediculous.

Really, do they have a computer in that case?
And even if they do, do they have the net?

One more thing- short time usages of premium (ie buying a one month premium at a cheaper price) wouldn't work well because games on this site last so long. You could effectively start a large amount of games and then play them out for the month where you aren't paying, or something to that effect.

The idea of making a cheaper premium at 8 games at once isn't a terrible idea, but in the long run I don't think its worthwhile to implement. At least there are many other things that should take precedence, and better ways of making additional money (such as tshirts and other items from a CC store).
