- Add a new smilie
- The smilie would have 3 eyes and be wearing headphones
- We could use it to indicate the post was made while scattered

It would be stupid to misspell things in your signature....Army of GOD wrote:It would be stupid to add any of these smileys.
We might as well add every smiley in the history of forums while we're at it.

I'm in favor of more smilies!

Actually adding smilies is a bit of a PITA in phpBB3. It's still easier than coding them in by hand, but it does take more than a few seconds each.grifftron wrote:truth is these smileys take a matter of seconds to upload into the system, the other sad truth is lack will never take those seconds to do it
I have buddies over at phpBB... one of them actually got off his ass (not literally) signed up for CC and confirmed my last serious suggestion on avatars on wall posts. He says he could do it in seconds... maybe a normal computer user, 30 seconds per smiley max.blakebowling wrote:Actually adding smilies is a bit of a PITA in phpBB3. If your buddy can code updates in seconds, why don't we have all of these new features you're requesting.grifftron wrote:I have buddies over at phpBB... one of them actually got off his ass (not literally) signed up for CC and confirmed my last serious suggestion on avatars on wall posts. He doesn't work for CC.. and he sure as hell isn't gonna do free coding to make someone else money when hes making nothing doing it... he works for them not for CC. And I only requested 1 thing seriously and that was the avatars on wall posts, took a year to get implemented but hey its a start. I think more smileys would be fun but obviously not needed.blakebowling wrote:If your buddy can code updates in seconds, why don't we have all of these new features you're requesting.grifftron wrote:I have buddies over at phpBB... one of them actually got off his ass (not literally) signed up for CC and confirmed my last serious suggestion on avatars on wall posts. People who work for phpBB don't make any money from that either.grifftron wrote:He doesn't work for CC.. and he sure as hell isn't gonna do free coding to make someone else money when hes making nothing doing it... he works for them not for CC.
