Second, given we are 54 players (and 2 reserves) and I chose such bizarre settings, it's taken me a while to work out what the tourney will look like in practice.

Kin: Starts with 54 players. Although I said it was terminator, that won't really work in practice. So, we are playing quads and triples terminator games That is, we will have four 8 player quads and one 6 player triple. Three games against your matched opponents and best of three goes through.

Uinal: Round 2 starts with 27 players. Proper terminator this time with five 3 player games (singles) and two 6 player games (doubles). Three games against your matched opponents and best of three goes through.

Tun: Round 3 starts with 9 players. Assassin this time and we have three 3 player games. Three games against your matched opponents and best of three goes through.

Katun: Round 4 has 3 players. We have one 3 player assassin game where the first out is out. Three games against your matched opponents and best of three goes through.

Baktun: Round 5 has two players and we will determine a winner! Again, best of three.

All that remains now if for me to set up the games and send you the password.

Some interesting facts about this tourney.

(As at the commencement of this tourney ... as in as at the time of writing this) the average rating is 1768. Lowest rating is 915 and highest rating is 2858. Eighteen players have ratings over 2000 and I am in the bottom 16 with a rating less than 1500.

But most importantly, the Mayan curse was broken as a consequence of your efforts!
