In Canada, we don't have illegal immigrants, because they know that they can go to the states, and get in there easily, and in canada they have to go through customs/ all the other hassles..

Canada is a place that accepts all people, and only if you do not have a good reason, or have a criminal background, you will not get in here..
maybe the americans should take a few more people from Afghanistan, and put them on the borders, or in force the immigration system, so that all the illegal immigrants need to register with the country, before they can live here..

Canada doesn't do thought police at all… Actually, America has hate crimes to. And a hate crime isn't thinking about doing something, it's carrying out an act of violence against somebody because of race, religion, or sexual orientation.

America polices people's thoughts though when the enacted the patriot act. It completely took away all of your rights, and made it so that you can be arrested because of something you said to your friend, or a similar situation.
