I am the only person I know that has a t-shirt showing the picture from Kevin Ayers and the Whole World's "Shooting at the Moon" album, arguably the finest album ever made.

In fact, the Curlson asked me the other day..."Is there one album, Dad, that you think is the best ever, that you could listen to, like, forever?"
I said, "look at the t-shirt, son".

Inspired by everyone taking pictures and posting them, I'm trying to find a good pic to upload. This will have to do.I took this pic at my grandma's house a last summer. A mother deer with her teenager

It appears you have the same type of deer where you live (Scandinavia?) as we do over here in New England. I don't have any pictures but we have tons of whitetail deer as well as moose where I live. This past spring I drove behind two young moose for about a half a mile as they ran down the road. It was pretty cool.

There are many Deer in the Country area of Minnesota also. I live in North Dakota but I spend a lot of time in Minnesota.

We can't stop the damn bamboo from growing - 30 foot high or more.
The deer was about eight feet away at one point, but in this pic it's about 30. here's two other pics, some distance, different zoom...

Scandinavian deer is much more shy, I could never get as close as eight feet to them. Unless I'm inside a house they will run if they see me from thirty feet.
