Also, I would note that Star Wars is "a long time ago" (ignore that it's a galaxy far, far away). Star Trek is in the future. Therefore, it is perfectly reasonable that a newfound star or planet should be from "a long time ago" and then named for a Star Wars planet or star system.
Given there are ~10^12 stars in the galaxy and ~10^24 stars in the universe we should probably hold off on the star wars names until we find the ones which can support viable colonies. That way Alderaan may one day have its own seat on the UN and humanity's destiny will be complete.
