plus you'd have to super supersize the map just to fit the tribe names in.

it's the names though that are a problem. the map would probably need to be coded A1, A2, B1, B2 like WWII Europe .koontz1973 wrote:When I saw cairns map for the first time, first though was F me. That is huge but what a map. I looked at it and saw so many different regions that would make for some really interesting games. Great thing about it as well is it would make for a lot of different type of games. Not just the large 8 player games, but also a couple of 1v1 maps in their as well.
Disease? IH.Industrial Helix wrote:Hooleeee crap, that's a big map. I had no idea Australia had so many different peoples going on when the Euros came, not too surprising the Euros took control of the continent so quickly... what happened to the aboriginals? was disease as big a factor as it became in the Americas?

Actually a celtic first nations has quite a bit of potential. The Romans did keep a record of where the original tribes were (even if other information is somewhat suspect) and they had a tendency to allow locals to continue with their own cultures (hence why wales is a celtic nation, not a sub-roman one).Gillipig wrote:I'd like to see First Nations of Europe but I'm not sure it would be possible. It would have to be set before the time of the Romans but little is known about mid, west, north and eastern Europe of that time. Only the south do we know enough about.
