Well, seeing you had posted in the XML check thread, i naturally assumed you had authorisation to do it.Gilligan wrote:I love how no one questioned my authority to do that.

Vlasov, thank-you for dropping in...Vlasov wrote:Where's Lubyanka Prison?

i don't see what harm it does to have it there, and there shoouldn't be any issues since the overrides are in the xml.iancanton wrote:...
the tsentralny bonus explanation in the legend is potentially confusing. if inner ring is +5 and tsentralny without inner ring is +8, then the total is +13. if tsentralny is +13, overriding the other two, then a player receives exactly nothing extra for holding both of the other two bonuses, so why put it in the legend at all? some players might interpret it as giving +13 in addition to the total of +5 and +8.
Changed.krasnosel'skaya ought to be krasnoselskiy. krasnosel'skaya is a metro station whose name refers to a street of that name, while krasnoselskiy is the name of the district on the map. my source is the moscow city government's website, which has a helpful map of administrative districts, modified so that -sky becomes -skiy to match this map's convention.
Mmmm. seems most of those names are in the english version.http://www.mos.ru/en/authority/structure/cao/
I'll stick with what i've got there since it aligns with what is on google. thanks.bogorodskoye ought to be bogorodskoe. this is because u have used the -oe ending instead of -oye in every other place where it occurs. i've been through all of the other names on the map and i've noticed no others that don't fit.
ian.

Thanks oneyed.Oneyed wrote:cairns, I checked ones more your names and here are possible edits:
Bogorodskoye - Bogorodskoe (ian is right)
Maryina Roshcha - Maryna Roshcha

Thanks IH.Industrial Helix wrote:First time looking at this map and I have to say it looks really great, I appreciate the unique gameplay as well.

hm, is Sydney still Sydney? could it be written Sidny because Slavs pronounced it so? I learned 10 years Russian and I seek for these names in Russian pages. Russian never say Bogorodskoie (Bogorodskoye), just Bogorodskoe.cairnswk wrote: Thanks oneyed.but i'll stick with what i find on google..if you ask me, there are many docs out there that give different spellings and version, so i doubt if any of them know what they're on about, let alone mysefl, ian or others.
Oneyed...i don't want to get into this discussion again with otherwise i wil become very mad abo-ut language semantics.Oneyed wrote:...
so I could be fine with Maryina Roshcha, but Bogorodskoe, not Bogorodskoye.
