You're Clan rep has voted. Maybe communicate w him?Chariot of Fire wrote:Why is it being discussed? Because no-one is aware that the poll in CDF has 18 clans voting in favour of using the same map twice, that's why.

And so has qwert's clan. And both were votes for either leave as is or once per war. Seems you should discuss with your clan rep more if you feel so strongly otherwise. Because as of right now the vast majority of votes are to remain as is.IcePack wrote:You're Clan rep has voted. Maybe communicate w him?Chariot of Fire wrote:Why is it being discussed? if i understand correct one clan can use only 10 maps in round 1? And then can repeat these maps in every round?Chariot of Fire wrote:Why is it being discussed? Because no-one is aware that the poll in CDF has 18 clans voting in favour of using the same map twice, that's why.

I disagree completely. I just want normal wars. Please just leave all of the crazy rules in the Clan League. Let the Cup be straightforward.Chariot of Fire wrote:qwert is right in that a clan only has to use 30 maps the entire tournament if we implement a "one map per round" rule. Right now, as the rules stand, a clan only has to use 15 maps the entire tournament. I find this intrinsically wrong and believe it should change.

What's the definition of normal? The Voice wrote:WordGenoke wrote:make it 2jghost7 wrote:+1chapcrap wrote:I disagree completely. I just want normal wars. Pretty much what has been CC, CC2, CC3?Crazyirishman wrote:What's the definition of normal? The Voice wrote:WordGenoke wrote:make it 2jghost7 wrote:+1chapcrap wrote:I disagree completely. not everyone participated in those competitions and even the ones who participated can hard remember what they played 1,2,3 years ago. Isn't it more honest to first describe what is "normal" before any voting and asking for support? People are lazy, they enjoyed let's say CC3 so without further reading they will vote for "leave it as it is" if there is not described what is that for what they vote. If there is precisely described what is "leave it as it is" and what is "new proposal" then you can use the voting result as legit.IcePack wrote:Pretty much what has been CC, CC2, CC3?Crazyirishman wrote:

A typical clan war. The clans negotiate basic terms. I'm ok with mandated game limits, limits on trench (like 20% or only in Round 1), and making people follow a round creationg deadline. Other than that, let's just be a little more laissez-faire.Crazyirishman wrote:What's the definition of normal? The Voice wrote:WordGenoke wrote:make it 2jghost7 wrote:+1chapcrap wrote:I disagree completely. You're a smart guy, I know that you can handle defining normal here.josko.ri wrote:not everyone participated in those competitions and even the ones who participated can hard remember what they played 1,2,3 years ago. The cup was built to be a collection of normal wars, with a basic structure of rules to form the competition. It is a discussion topic. We aren't nervous. You propose / want to discuss new terms or rules, and we respond. That's how this works isn't it qwert? Or are discussions only one way?qwert wrote:hmm, these its not normal competition, its Cup, so if Dako dont have rules, and that clans negotiate basic terms, then these can go out of control.
For normal wars, you all ready have clan challenges. And its Cup discussion topic, i dont understand why Fallen are nervous, its not mean that any what people suggest will be accepted.
For change will be good to give suggestions, not to oppose anything what other only suggested.

Fair point about CDF. But when josko says CC1,2,3 was awhile ago and people won't remember - CC3 is still active...and those semi finals, an main thread still very visible to the clan area. Saying a better definition of "normal" war is needed kind of ridiculous.Foxglove wrote:IcePack wrote: The vote had more detail, if your concerned w the vote go speak to your clan rep from CDF.
This comment has been tossed out there a few times, but I think it's unreasonable for every clan member to be fully cognizant of the discussions and votes happening in CDF just because their clan has one representative member in the group. Sure, the clan rep should keep his or her clan informed - but those of you who are in the group obviously have a much clearer insight into what happens there. And just because a vote or discussion happens there, doesn't mean that similar discussions should be shut down here.
It is useful to share info like - "this discussion about maps? 80% (or whatever) of the reps in CDF voted against it, so we probably don't need to continue it if only one or two people in this thread are strongly for it", but please don't just automatically try to shut down conversations and refer people to their CDF rep.
