But I think merch313 gets the ability to randomly invite players from the list of 10 players? Or at least that's what happened in the last CL.

This is the first offense. Lets all give Merch a bit of time to sort it out. They will likely end up with random games and random invites, unless they beat him to the punch. Also a warning will follow. Relax a bit. Things will be ok.

Hey Chap, if a clan miss their deadline the DD will try to get in touch with them to find out what's up. Assuming he can get an answer and they deal with it fairly quickly they will be ok to proceed this time but they will have used up their good grace and would be unlikely to get any extension at all next time. If the dd can't get a response at all within a reasonable time frame then random invites will follow.
